If you have moved to Chester from out of state and would like to register your car, you will need the Title and a copy of your closing papers to show where you have moved. We are a recycling community and we urge you to participate as much as possible. The Transfer Station is located on Route 102, Raymond Road as you head towards the Town of Raymond. Hours: Saturday 7:00am – 2:00pm, Wednesday 6:00pm – 8:00pm. This is a drop off facility. Type of collection: cardboard, glass jars, bottles, magazines, metal cans, mixed paper, newspapers (no glossy inserts), phonebooks (remove covers), plastic (# 1 through #7), scrap metal, used motor oil, and yard waste.
There is also a local Trash Removal Services Company:
