Seeking Local Contractors

The Board of Selectmen have asked that we compile a list of Chester-based contractors – carpenters, electricians, masons, plumbers, roofers, builders, handymen, etc. – in order that the Town can give preference to residents when there is a need for a contractor.  If you’re interested in being on this list, please send your name, specialty, and contact information to the Selectmen’s Office.

Contractors must carry liability, automobile, and workers’ compensation (if appropriate) insurance.  A sample of the certificate of insurance, as required by the Town’s own insurance carrier, is attached.
