Basketball Update and Reminders

Happy New Year to all our Basketball Players and Volunteers,

Here is a quick update for all our divisions.  If you have any questions, please contact Chester Recreation at 603-887-3636, Ext. 100 or email director@chesternhrec.org.

K-2 PROGRAM
Our K-2 program will begin on January 8th at 9AM at the MPR.  There are hooks in the hallway where the players can hang up their coats and change out of their winter boots into their sneakers to keep the gym floor as clean and safe as possible for the participants to play on.  We are still looking for volunteers to assist with the younger program.  Please reach out if you are able to help.

3/4 PROGRAM
Hope you all had a good time at the 3/4 Jamboree.  Practices will start back up on Wednesday, January 5th.  The 3/4 Grade Girls practice begins at 5:30 PM and the 3/4 Grade Boys begins at 6:45 PM.  Please do not come prior to the scheduled start time. This is for the safety of all players to limit exposure between teams.  Your first game is set for Saturday, January 8th. 

5/6/7/8 PROGRAM
Hope you all have had a good start to the season prior to the holiday break.  Practices will start back up next week as previously scheduled.  Your coaches will reach out directly with any updates or changes.   

COVID-19 REMINDERS – If you are sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19 and/or close contact with someone who is suspected or confirmed to have had COVID-19 please stay home.  Promptly inform the Town of Chester, Recreation Department, in the event that you or your child tests positive for COVID-19 – emergency cell number (603) 235-8255. Thank you.

GAMES REMINDERS - Please remember to not go onto the court with wet shoes.  Please change out of your winter boots prior to entering the gym.  Only water is allowed in the gyms.  All shirts must be tucked in during game play.  No jewelry of any kind is allowed to be worn during the games.
