Changes Coming to Glass Recycling

As of October 1st, 2018, the Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA) will only be accepting glass food and beverage containers - bottles and jars - for recycling.  This means no headlights, thermometers, light bulbs, windows, pyrex, drinking glasses, etc.  The Town will be fined for contaminated loads.  

The Transfer Station will begin enforcing this change right away in order that by the time October rolls around, recycling the proper materials will be second nature.  Please let them do their jobs without argument.
