Monday      8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tuesday    12:00 pm to 7:00 pm*
Wednesday   8:00 am to 1:00 pm
Thursday   12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Friday      8:00 am to 1:00 pm
3rd Saturday of every month   8:00 am to 12:00 pm

*For safety reasons, if there is only one clerk in the office on a Tuesday, the hours will be 10:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  This will be announced ahead of time.

Part-Time Recording Secretary/Minute Taker

The Town of Chester is seeking an experienced recording secretary to occasionally take minutes at local government meetings, held on various evenings during the week.  The successful candidate must be able to take precise notes quickly in addition to interpreting and transcribing these notes later.  S/he must have knowledge of correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.  Familiarity with Roberts Rules of Order is helpful; familiarity with New Hampshire RSAs is a bonus.  Other requirements include reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and a sense of humor.  Please submit letter of interest and resume to Town of Chester, Board of Selectmen, 84 Chester Street, Chester, NH 03036 or via email at chesterbos@gsinet.net.  EOE
