Bat

Chester Conservation Commission presents a virtual live animal event:  Animals in Winter!

Winter means cold, ice, snow, and shorter days. How do New Hampshire animals survive these conditions? Join a Squam Lakes Natural Science Center Naturalist to meet live animals up close and find out about various successful adaptations they use to cope with the stresses of winter.

Date: Saturday, February 6th, 2021
Time: 6-7 PM

Free to the public, but you must register by sending a registration request to conservationcommission@chesternh.org.

On the morning of the event, we will be sending out the ZOOM link for it to all that have properly registered.

We will not know what animals will be featured until a few days prior to the event, but the bat pictured here is one of the possible animals we will meet.
