Postponement and Rescheduling of Town Elections and Town Meeting

Dear Town of Chester Residents (Authorized to Vote in Town Affairs):

Based on the recent iteration of restrictions and authority contained in the January 22^nd, 2021 Governor's Emergency Order No. 83, as well as the current reported COVID-19 conditions and anticipated scope/dates of vaccination availability/implementation, I met with the Chester Board of Selectmen to consider postponement and rescheduling of the March 9^th, 2021 Chester Town Election and March 13^th, 2021 Chester Town Meeting. 

After careful consideration, the Chester Board of Selectmen, upon my recommendation, voted to postpone and reschedule the Chester Election and Town Meeting.

The Chester Town Election will now be scheduled for Tuesday, May 11^th, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Chester Multi-Purpose Room.  The Chester Town Meeting will now be scheduled for Saturday, May 15^th, 2021 to begin at 9:00 a.m. and to be conducted at the Chester Academy parking facility.

All questions concerning the rescheduled Chester Town Election and Chester Town Meeting can be referred directly to me (via the following e-mail: mscott@scottandscottpa.com), or to the Chester Board of Selectmen.
