Update: NO Oil at the Transfer Station
As you know, we've had an issue disposing of the motor oil collected at the Transfer Station due to the fact that someone dropped off oil that turned out to be contaminated with perchloroethylene, which is a form of degreaser. (Please...unadulterated motor oil only in the oil tank.)
Although we're working on getting the contaminated oil removed and the tank cleaned, it hasn't happened yet, and we have run out of space to store oil containers. Here's a heads-up for places you can take your oil:

Believe it or not, cooking oil cannot be collected at the Transfer Station under our current permit and needs to be dropped off at one of the bi-annual Hazardous Waste Days.
