NH FIRST DAY HIKES 2021

Start 2021 by connecting with the outdoors!
First Day Hikes are a great way to kick off the New Year and connect with the outdoors and each other. To ensure the safety and health of our visitors NH's First Day Hikes will be virtual, self-guided events this year. These hikes can take place anytime between December 26 and January 1, New Years Day 2021.

Rise to the Virtual Challenge

Since our 2021 First Day Hikes will be self-guided outings, you can choose to explore any of our state historic sites, parks or recreational rail trails at your own pace. Leashed pets are permitted at many parks in the off-season so check our pet-friendly parks webpage if you plan to bring your four-footed friends. Stay safe by choosing a state park that is close to home, hike with less than 10 people and remain six feet from other hikers.
